Worship Team (music, sound, lighting, vision)
The weekly variation of St. Johns service pattern, gives opportunity for each and every member of the congregation to meet with God, (this is the primary objective of our worship). From the youngest to the oldest and for those with varying taste in styles of service. This variety also gives the chance for many different people, with a mixture of gifts and abilities to be involved.
Please pray for the young people as they develop their gifts, and as they contribute, not only during their youth services but also in the wider role of church worship. We have a monthly music practice on the third Friday of each month at 7.30pm. There is also opportunity for those interested in helping with sound and I.T. We will be looking to encourage singers and musicians to be involved in developing our worship styles further. So if you have not been directly involved before, then ask God to show you how you might use the gift/s He has given you.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who give of your time and talents to assist our acts of worship. That includes YOU, from those of you who have 'up front' roles, to those who work quietly 'behind the scenes' and not least those of you with an encouraging word or affirming smile.
'Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing'. l Thess.5:ll
