Men's Forum.
In today's stressful and fast-paced world, modern man quite often seems to be struggling. Man's role at home , in the family, at work, and with friends, is changing and most of the old certainties have been overturned.
What should a man be and do? What should define him? What should be the goal of his life? How should he relate to women? To his kids? To other men? What does the Bible have to say about being a man today, if anything?
For Christian men seeking to learn what God is saying to us today and how to apply this in our lives
You are cordially invited to discuss these issues, and more, at a monthly meeting of the Men's Forum. Informal duscussion, with a member of St John's steering a discussion - we aim to encourage participation - this is not a lecture! Each meeting is self-contained - this is not a series where missing one discussion is a problem.
We meet on Thusday's monthly in the Church Centre - starting at at 8.00 pm prompt and aiming to finish at 9.15 pm - with further discussions taking place over refreshment at a suitable local hostelry.
