Home Groups.

''Home Groups'' are, just as the name suggests, small groups of people meeting in the comfort of someone's home, to share together, study the Bible, and worship and pray together. About 100 folk at St John's already belong to one of the Home Groups.

The size of the congregation, particularly on Sunday morning, is too large to be able to get to know everyone, and have a sense of belonging. In Home Groups 8-12 people meet together, and can get to know each other well, supporting each other in difficult times etc. There are groups meeting, usually weekly, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in Southbourne, Emsworth and Havant, and in the afternoons in Southbourne, so there is something to suit everyone.

Home Groups are a really good way to get to know people, and to get to know our Bible better. You will be welcomed with coffee and biscuits, and there is no pressure to join in more than you want to. You do not need to be a Bible expert..... You don't even need to be sure that you are a Christian - everyone at St John's is welcome. If you have come with a friend you can join their Home Group.
