Welcome to a new year of Trailblazers!

Trailblazers is for children in school years 5 & 6.  We meet on Wednesday evenings in the Church Centre from 5.45pm to 6.45pm.  During this time we play games, have Bible study, pray and have craft activities.  Quite often there is food involved as well! New children are welcome throughout the term.

This year the leaders will be Marion Jenkins,(372436) Julie Warren(374294) and Sarah Titley (379947).  We also have Helen Smith working with us for the rest of the  year as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award.

This term we are looking at the life of Jesus. Before half-term we are exploring his childhood, his baptism, The Sermon on the Mount and the Lord's Prayer. After half-term we will concentrate on The Last Supper, Jesus' arrest, trial, crucifixion and resurrection.

As usual we will break for half-term and so there will be no session on Wednesday 17th February and we will finish for Easter on Wednesday 24th March.

Trailblazers traditionally say prayers in church on the first Sunday in March. This is the 10 o'clock family service and we hope that as many trailblazers and their families as possible can come to this service. We would ask that the children can be in church at 9.30am on this Sunday so that we can have a quick run through of their prayers with them.

Verse of the Day

Matthew 28:18-20
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
